I added Twenty Boy Summer to my to-read list after I read about the wacko in Missouri who tried to get it banned. Now I owe him a letter of thanks. It's a deeply affecting story about loss, love, and the pain of going on with life after a friend dies far too young. It reminded me most of Lois Lowry's A Summer to Die. If the guy who tried to ban it has even read the book, rather than just reacting to the provocative title, I'll eat my copy.
